The Experience

After an early transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport, you board a morning flight to Arusha. On arrival, your private safari guide welcomes you and drives you directly to Tarangire National Park.

Within a short time, you are surrounded by open savannah and towering baobab trees. Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephant population, and sightings of large family groups are common.

Your afternoon is spent on game drive, tracking wildlife and stopping for sightings at your own pace. As the sun lowers, the landscape glows golden — one of the most beautiful times to be in the park.

An early morning descent into the crater and have a full-day game drive, armed with picnic lunches. Predators are often most active during the cooler hours, and morning light provides excellent viewing conditions.
