Payment & Booking Policy

Emnel Adventures Africa

At Emnel Adventures Africa, we strive to make your safari experience seamless from booking to travel. This Payment & Booking Policy explains the procedures, deposit requirements, and payment timelines.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once:

  1. The required deposit payment has been received.

  2. Written confirmation is issued by Emnel Adventures Africa.

Due to limited availability of lodges, camps, and domestic flights, reservations cannot be guaranteed until the deposit has been received.

Deposit Requirement​

A 30% deposit of the total safari cost is required to secure your reservation.

In certain cases, a higher deposit may be requested, particularly for:

  • Domestic or regional flights

  • Gorilla or chimpanzee permits

  • Peak season or special-event lodge bookings

  • Certain luxury camps with strict policies

These requirements will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Balance Payment​

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the start of your safari.

For bookings made within 60 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation

Secure Payment Methods

1. Bank Transfer (Recommended for Large Payments)

For large payments, bank transfers are preferred typically since they offer lower transaction fees. After completing your transfer, please email us a copy of your transaction receipt so we can begin confirming your arrangements.

Important: All international bank fees, including those charged by correspondent banks, must be covered by the sender

2. Credit & Debit Card (Visa/Mastercard via Secure Gateway)

We accept Visa and MasterCard payments through a secure online platform. All transactions are encrypted with SSL technology and meet international security standards.

  • A 3.5% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments.

How it works:

  • We’ll email you a personalised invoice with a secure payment link.

  • Click the link, review the details, and follow the prompts to pay.

  • Once payment is completed, you’ll receive a confirmation via email.

 

⚠️ Some payments are subject to verification by the payment service provider and on such incidents we will contact you and advise the required documentation to complete the transaction verification

After Payment – What Happens Next?

Once your payment is received:

  • You’ll get a confirmation email and payment receipt

  • We’ll secure all bookings (lodging, park permits, transport, etc.)

  • Your final travel documents will be shared before departure
